Maintains accurate records on Bioagent inventory, including the following:

• The BIO Assistant will handle large numbers of inventory receipt and disposal records
• Tracks individual items by an assigned inventory number
• Assigns shipment to user inventory at time of receipt
• Documents Bioagent location within the institution
• Allows partial disposal or transfer of Bioagent from an inventory item
• Tracks Bioagent from a user through a waste stream until final disposal
• Archives Bioagent data as specified by user
• Biohazard inventory reports
