An inspection cycle is based upon the premise that we not only have to conduct an inspection but we must communicate the results to the responsible parties, correct the violation/deficiency, and report that the correction has been completed. The EH&S Assistant handles all facets of the inspection process. You create your own list of inspection criteria. This criteria can include the category, sub-category, checklist item, regulatory reference, and recommendations. The following form displays a typical inspection checklist detail record.
Recording of the inspection results is extremely easy. Once you have selected the location of the inspection, the inspection results using the checklist becomes very easy. You have an option to mark all checklist items to a default answer, i.e, Satisfactory 'as an example'. You would only have to record the exceptions which would typically be violations. The ability to enter from a drop down recommendations, notes and comments, multiple pictures, responsible category, and responsible individual are all options that make the inspection process very productive and extremely detailed.
