Waste Pickup Request Duplication
When submitting a new waste pickup request a user can now choose to duplicate a previous request on file. This feature, which adds a new option for submitting waste pickup requests, was added based on a suggestion from LSU.
To submit a duplicate request a user highlights a previous request from Waste Request table and clicks the Duplicate Waste Request Button at the top of the screen.

Clicking the Duplicate Waste Request button brings up the request highlighted in the previous screen.
From there the user can review the previous request, make edits if necessary, or simply click Save & Submit to submit an entirely new request from the previous pickup request’s record page. This can simplify the waste request process and does not require lab personnel to fill out a new request form when they are submitting a commonly recurring pickup.

PI Overview Worker Training Requirements View
We have also added an alternative way for PIs to view the status of training requirements for personnel associated with their permits.
Clicking the Training Button in the PI Overview takes the PI to their training overview screen.
From the training overview screen a PI can view a list of all of their permits, and by selecting a permit, view the training course details for that permit.
Previously users could view the status of all training courses associate with each of their permits.

We have added an option to view the status of training requirements by worker rather than just by permit. Clicking the Permit Requirements View in the top right corner of the screen toggles between worker and permit view.
Worker Search Function
The latest update will also feature a new way for users to search the worker database.
The latest update will also feature a new way for users to search the worker database.
Multiple search filters may be applied to search the entire worker database, so a PI or administrator may quickly find a specific worker or group of workers.
After defining a specific group the user may choose to assign new training:
Or email a group of workers directly via the email bursting feature:
The worker search not only makes it easier to identify and filter clearly defined groups of workers, but allows a PI or administrator to interact with that group directly to assign additional training or email critical information in the event of an issue in a particular lab.
